Podcast: Reydon Primary School in Southwold fulfils teaching assistant’s final wish





In today’s podcast, staff and pupils at a school paid tribute to a former teaching assistant by fulfilling one of her final wishes.

Leanne Wentworth, who worked at Reydon Primary School in Southwold and was the driving force behind many of its green activities, including its ‘eco committee’, died last year.

Also, devoted Bury St Edmunds parents who spent decades trying to find the killer of their daughter have died within days of each other.

Hotelier John Ward, who devoted his life trying to find daughter, Julie Ward’s, killer, died last week and his wife Jan died on May 25. They were both 89.

And finally, a man has pleaded guilty to indecent exposure following an incident in a town centre at the weekend.

In the dock at Norwich Magistrates’ Court yesterday morning was Malcolm Smith, of no fixed abode, who had been charged with once count of the offence.
