Stowmarket commuters reportedly spot Martin Freeman filming production on train





An award-winning actor has reportedly been seen filming a scene aboard a train travelling through Suffolk.

Martin Freeman, who is known for his work in The Hobbit trilogy, Sherlock and Black Panther, was spotted in Stowmarket among the production team on Monday morning.

The Greater Anglia services were travelling from London Liverpool Street to Norwich - however it has not been confirmed what project was being filmed.

A Greater Anglia spokesperson said: “We can confirm film crews were on board two of our services between London Liverpool Street and Norwich yesterday.

“We regularly facilitate filming on our trains and stations.

“We have successfully collaborated on a range of projects, including the Amazon Original Jack Ryan, BBC’s Killing Eve, I Hate Suzi, ASOS fashion shoots and much more.

“All filming is overseen by our film liaison consultant to ensure customers are not inconvenienced.
