To mark the album’s release, the record label is hosting an album launch party at The Club in Ipswich on Saturday, November 4 which will see headline performances from Kleu, Conrad Subs, Sola and Affirmation.

Promoter Aaron Lunn, who will be performing on the night as DJ Xylo, said: “I’m really excited to be launching this night - it’s going to be really special.

“I was so surprised when we heard back from War Child and that we were able to be an official supporter of the charity and the amazing work they do.

“This album is just a testament to the collective strength of the drum and bass community.”

Aaron started putting the project together nine months ago and has spent a lot of his time mixing and mastering tracks for the album.

The first volume has been released for free to give listeners a taste of what’s to come as four more volumes are to be published in the future.

The second is being sold for £7.50 and the proceeds going to War Child and the next volume in the series will be released on Friday, November 3.

With the recent war zones in Ukraine, Gaza and other ongoing conflicts around the world, War Child develops and deploys life-saving work to protect and provide for the millions of children impacted by war.

Aaron is hoping music-lovers will be able to give their support by using this JustGiving donation link while also enjoying the volumes of Rhythms of Empathy as they release.

The album release party next Saturday will play out across two rooms with one hosting the headline acts and the other featuring mixed genre fusions.

Drum and bass icon Nicky Blackmarket will also be recording a DJ set for the project after the launch party which will consist of tracks from the album’s volumes.
