Lucy’s Pizzeria in Fornham All Saints, near Bury St Edmunds, to be sold to new owners





The owner of a pizzeria near Bury St Edmunds has made the difficult decision to sell her restaurant, which she describes as ‘a little gem’.

Lucy Pretorius, who opened Lucy’s Pizzeria in Fornham All Saints, near Bury St Edmunds, in 2019, said she wanted to share the news with a mix of emotions.

She posted on Facebook: “This year, I embraced the joy of becoming a new mother, and as I navigate this incredible chapter of my life, I've made the difficult decision to sell the restaurant to new owners.”

Lucy who owns the restaurant alongside her husband Francois, continued: “I am incredibly proud of the special little gem we've created, and I'll always treasure the unwavering support of our customers, which has been the backbone of our success.

“Thank you for being a part of our journey.”

Lucy added that she hopes to see her regular customers in the coming weeks before the last day of service at the pizzeria on December 23.

Takeout pizzas will still be available to order online until the sale of the restaurant in the new year.
