Two people taken to West Suffolk Hospital after two-vehicle crash in Elveden, near Thetford and Mildenhall





Two people have been taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on a busy route in a Suffolk village.

Emergency services were called at about 6pm yesterday to a three-vehicle collision on the B1106 in Elveden, near Thetford.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said two ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle attended.

Two people were taken to West Suffolk Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

One person had head, neck and shoulder injuries, while the other person suffered injuries that were less severe.

Engines from Elmswell and Brandon were at the scene of the incident and left at about 7.30pm.
