Driver in Flowton Road, on the A134 near Ipswich, rescued by fire crews after getting stuck in door-level floodwater





Fire crews have rescued a driver stuck in flood water near a Suffolk town.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue was called about the incident in Flowton Road, on the A134 near Ipswich, at 2.22pm.

The water was at the driver’s door level.

A spokesperson for the service confirmed that as of 2.40pm the driver has been rescued from the vehicle.

One engine was on scene at the time, with a further three engines also called to the scene.
