Former England cricket internationals Michael Vaughan and Phil Tufnell treat guests in Ipswich at charity lunch





Two former England internationals treated guests to stories from their careers at a charity lunch in a Suffolk town.

Michael Vaughan and Phil Tufnell were guest speakers at the Magnus Events Sporting Lunch held at Venue 16 in Ipswich on Friday.

Vaughan, England’s 2005 Ashes-winning captain, and former left-arm spinner Tufnell, told tales and anecdotes from their international careers.

Around 160 guests attended the charity lunch which was organised by Olly Magnus in aid of East Anglian Children’s Hospices and Suffolk Mind.

The event included a two-course lunch, a game of heads and tails, and

an auction, plus a silent auction of sporting and other memorabilia and experiences.
