Weird and Wonderful Wood in Haughley near Stowmarket announces dates for 2024 festival





Organisers of an award-winning Suffolk festival showcasing the many aspects of wood and wood workers has announced its dates for 2024.

The two-day Weird and Wonderful Wood festival at Haughley Park, near Stowmarket, saw just under 10,000 people on May 13 and 14 this year as everything from chainsaw wood carving to den making, music to story telling was on show.

The event was also crowned the best festival in the region in March, after a public vote was taken by the East Anglian Festival Network.

This year’s Weird and Wonderful Festival will take place on Saturday, May 11 (between 10.30am and 6pm) and Sunday, May 12 (between 10.30am and 5pm).
