Wattisham Support for Rotary

Mike Favager, director of Aviation Training International's Wattisham facility, presents a cheque for £250 to Tim Evans, 2008/09 president of the Rotary Club of Stowmarket Gipping Valley to support work being undertaken in the community by local Rotarians.   The presentation took place during a conducted tour by Rotary members and friends of the AVI premises, which are contained within the RAF Wattisham complex.   AVI uses hi-tech simulators to train Army Air Corps pilots and technicians on the operation and maintenance of Apache attack helicopters.
